Services offered through the Indigenous Youth Mobility Pathways Project
- Career planning
- Developing a training plan. Participants will commence training at the most appropriate level for them for example, pre vocational training through to Diploma or Higher Education
- Needs assessment which identifies individual support structures required to achieve project success
- Safe and supported accommodation - supervised by culturally appropriate residential workers where participants learn independent living skills. Students contribute to food and outgoings only.
- Individualised case management
- Professional and personal development
Depending on individual needs, participants will have access to a range of additional assistance including:
- Developing budgeting skills
- Time management skills
- Life skills
- Each young person will be linked to a culturally appropriate mentor
- Literacy and numeracy assistance
- Engagement into recreational and cultural activities
- Linked with a network of support and services
